Soname gave her debut performances in the western world in 1998. Audiences across France and Germany were moved by the magic of her voice. She continued to take the UK by storm, appearing at festivals like Glastonbury and with the likes of Asian Dub Foundation and Zero 7 at venues like London Scala and Brighton Concorde.
Soname charmed a celebrity studded gala at the Evening for Tibet Fundraiser under the auspices of HRH Prince of Wales at the Vilar Floral Hall in London's Royal Opera House. 2004 saw her embark on her first tour of Iceland, performing with members of the Sugarcubes to sold-out theatres. Recent highlights were her concerts in conjunction with HH the Dalai Lama's visit to Glasgow and Edinburgh Usher Hall.
Soname is pleased to bring the ancient culture of Tibet to the modern media via the vehicle of her awesome music.
